Welcome to TRUE*NORTH. In 1998 I purchased my first acreage property and a horse.  I decided that my property needed a name and a Brand.  I called my home Willowin and my brand was <3 N 8.  It was chosen as it signified my Love (♥) and (N) hate (8) for these magestic 4 legged creatures. I loved everything about them but I hated how I was forever putting my hand in my pocket to feed, care and be the owner of such gorgeous creatures. One afternoon, after a few champagnes and sitting back watching my beloved horses graze I wondered how I could utilize my lovely  <3 N 8 brand. On dusk I lit a bonfire and popped the horsebrand into it. When the iron was glowing I wandered around my beloved acres with a champagne in one hand and hot iron in the other. As I pushed the hot iron into a hardwood fence post, the iron smoked and sizzled and a small flame escaped. I had branded my first fence post, I then proceeded to do the gate, an old gum tree, a coffee table and my wooden bar. This was fun!!

I didnt think anything about it again for a while but over the course of the next few year I had so many people comment on the <3 N 8 brand and ask if they could have a piece of furniture or an article of clothing embossed with the iconic and lovely <3 N 8 logo.

 <3 N 8 was born.

Today  <3 N 8 is used on a select range of furniture, interesting items and clothing.

As we grow I hope one day you may have a piece of  <3 N 8 to look at and admire.
